Full trading and registration details are published on the contact page. Contact us there before ordering if you need them in writing.
Research use only
Every product is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. Nothing sold here is intended for human or veterinary consumption, therapeutic use, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any condition. Placing an order is your confirmation that you are 18 or over, that you are acquiring the products for research purposes, and that you are responsible for handling, storage and lawful use. We may refuse or cancel any order where this condition does not appear to be met.
How an order is formed
Submitting the checkout form is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. It generates an order reference so we can identify your order. A contract comes into existence only when we confirm the order and available stock to you directly. If a listed item is unavailable we will tell you before taking any payment.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Payment is arranged directly with the team after your order is confirmed, by bank transfer or cryptocurrency. We do not take card payments and will never ask for your card details. Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared. Cryptocurrency transfers are irreversible once broadcast, so send only the named asset on the named network we give you.
Delivery
We dispatch from the United Kingdom in plain, unbranded outer packaging. Estimated dispatch times are on the shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where you are responsible for import into your own country, any duties, taxes and clearance are yours to settle, and you are responsible for checking that the products may lawfully be imported.
Cancellation and returns
Where you order as a consumer at distance, you normally have 14 days from delivery to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
That right does not apply to goods that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery. Because these are laboratory reagents whose integrity cannot be verified once a seal is broken or the cold chain is left, we cannot accept the return of any opened vial, cartridge or kit. Unopened goods in their original sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days.
Nothing here limits your rights if goods arrive damaged, are not as described, or are not of satisfactory quality. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace or refund.
Supply plans
A supply plan is a recurring dispatch schedule at a discounted rate per dispatch. Each dispatch is subject to these same terms. You can cancel before any subsequent dispatch by contacting the team, and the discount applies only to dispatches already made.
Liability
The products are research materials supplied to a purchaser who is responsible for assessing their suitability for the intended research. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the products outside their stated research purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, therapeutic use, diagnosis, or treatment of any disease.
